Amazing Newspaper & Magazine sculpture by Yun-Woo Choi!

Make no mistake, Korean artist Yun-Woo Choi makes eye-popping, jaw-dropping things – huge sculptures painstakingly built into something ferociously intense and really beautiful. He uses things like magazines and newspapers rolled up, along with resin and wire to hold the forms.

But this is a creative on a mission to make you think as well as marvel and there’s a richly-researched seam of theoretical physics behind his work, as well as Taoist and Buddhist philosophy. With a particular fascination with multiple dimensions, his work becomes even more intriguing as you realise that there’s a lot more going on here than initially meets the eye.

NYC based artist.

Floppy discs painted and glued on a mirror that I was going to toss bc I hated the wood design before I became an Upcycle chic. The reflection is my living room, dope right? :0)
